I am once again participating in the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life this year on behalf of Paul. It was a year in March since he passed away and his birthday this Sunday. Our team decided to go with the theme and Team name Hillbillies for Hope. We are all dressing up like rednecks and our "tent" is going to be a lean-to with hubcaps and lawn ornaments. My apologies to all real rednecks out there for blatent stereotyping.
You know how I feel about cancer. It sucks. Eff you cancer. This 12 hour event is more than just raising money to eliminate the big C off the planet, it is about honouring Paul and every other cancer survivor, or person who lost their battle.
If there is an event in your area I encourage you all to participate. It is quite an experience.
