Ghost Facers

The team just wrapped up one paranormal investigation and we have another on Saturday and another in a few weeks. The one on Saturday sounds pretty awesome. It is on a property about 30 minutes outside of town, and there are several buildings on the lot that are over 100 years old. There are reports of footsteps, voices and one of the owners has even seen a man walking around the house!

In the last investigation we did, we got a ton of EVP's (electronic voice phenomenon) which I am still trying to transfer to video so I can post them. It is weird, because I am a skeptic but to hear voices on a recorder when you were in the room the whole time and heard nothing...it is disconcerting. Our little group also grew by 2 more members, we got a ton of new equipment and we now have three investigations lined up. Who knows, maybe we will be on Ghost Hunters Thunder Bay!

Other than that, I am busy saving animals, doing a fundraiser for a youth centre in town, participating in Relay for Life, working and sleeping. There are not enough hours in the day. I will get all caught up on your blogs this weekend.

I watched Oprah yesterday for her final show and she was talking about service and finding what you are passionate about. Mine is contributing something meaningful to society, and that is mostly to do with animals but also people who need a hand. I have a soft spot for the underdog, the people on the fringes. Maybe it is because when I was a kid, we were not well off and living paycheque to paycheque (yes that is how you spell cheque) and things could have turned out different had I not had opportunities. So now it is my turn to offer opportunities to others since I am in a position to do so.

I should have been born a billionaire so I could give it all away.

that looks French.
yes. You should have been born a millionaire (but see how pretty you turned out NOT having been born one).

I look Forward to seeing you on Ghost Hunters Thunder Bay (keep me posted should this come to pass). ^^

It probably is french because Canada is bilingual. Probably explains the extra "U" in colour, favourite, labour, favour etc.

nope i spell it that way too...americans are just bad spellers LOL

on our dud breakfast news here they showed her next door neighbour who was doing a publicity stunt about saving animals...I thought of you but at the same time I thought man that's cheap cashing in on oprah to air your own agenda under the guise of wanting to talk about being oprah's neighbour.

what did the voices say? I'm always amazed at why people are so into paranormal investigation but I guess it exists cos some people are skeptics I always forget that. To me the fact there is another spirit realm is just one of those facts of life...
